Okay - so I have seen buses that go to the character breakfasts before the park buses in the morning - but how often do they run? How much time should one leave?

For example - AKV to MK for 8:10 am breakfast at CP Or AKV to Chef Mickey's at 7:15 am?

From the mouse's mouth. The published start time for character buses is 7AM, however they start earlier, 6:30 or even a little earlier. Read carefully.

Early Morning Character Breakfast and Bibbidi Bobbiti Boutique Transportation

Early morning character breakfast transportation for resort guests with a priority seating at a Walt Disney World theme park or resort location is available.

Advise guest to be at the designated bus loading zone 60 minutes prior to seating time. Fort Wilderness guests should be at their loop bus stop 45 minutes prior to their seating time and inform the driver they are going to a Character Breakfast.

Guests traveling to a theme park location should proceed to the load zone designated for that theme park and board the bus with that theme park location on the marquee.

Guests traveling to the Grand Floridian, Polynesian or Contemporary Resorts should proceed to the Magic Kingdom load zone and board the Magic Kingdom bus. Once at the Magic Kingdom, proceed to the Resort Monorail Station and take the Monorail to your desired Resort. Note that Resort Monorail service is available beginning at 7:00am.

Guests traveling to the Beach Club may proceed to the Disney's Hollywood Studios™ load zone and board the Disney's Hollywood Studios™ bus. From the Disney's Hollywood Studios™ they can board the water launch to the Beach Club.

The bus will arrive at the load zone within 20 minutes, depending on route.
It is always advantageous for guests to tell the driver that they are going to a Character Breakfast.

Guests traveling from a resort to another resort for a character breakfast after park opening should be advised to take the normal route using a theme park as a transfer hub, if appropriate.

If guest has any specific question about how to get to their character breakfast from their resort, please direct them to the resort's Lobby Concierge.

For questions about bus pick-up times, call Walt Disney World Transportation:

If you can spare $20, save yourself the hassle and call a cab for your character breakfasts. You will have that hour extra in sleep, instead of waiting at the bus stop for your bus.:thumbsup2
