I feel like I should know this, but are there buses directly from the Waterparks to the parks, or do you need to go back to your resort first?

Searched, but couldn't find the answer.

Thanks,
Dan

I don't think there are any scheduled buses from waterparks to parks; i.e. there are no bus stops outside the waterparks designated for the other parks. However, I do recall going to other parks on our way back from the waterpark to our resort. We were going from Typhoon Lagoon to Coronado if that helps you any. Hopefully, someone will come along with a better answer for you, but all hope of going from waterpark to park is not lost.

To go from waterpark to parks you will have to transfer at a resort.

If you are going from a water park to MK, I suggest taking a bus to Contemporary and walk to MK.

If going from water park to Epcot, take a Beach Club bus and enter through International Gateway.

Both great suggestions, didn't think of that. Thanks! I'm guessing that we'll want to go back and shower up first, but who knows.

I suppose for HS, we could take the bus to the Yacht Club and then take a friendship boat to HS.

Yes, but I'd go to Swan/Dolphin, which is the closest boat stop to DHS.

Didn't I read recently that they are testing a direct route form Waterpark to MK? I'm not sure when they are doing this or if it will continue beyond the test.

They have instituted a direct Water Park to Water Park bus route, in conjunction with the newly-invented Water Park "Hopper" ticket.
(No, I'm not kidding.)

I suspect they made a very conscious decision not to go directly from the water parks to the parks since they don't charge for parking at the WP's. Otherwise people would be too tempted to park there to avoid paying at the parks.

After looking I think it was they are testing routes to TL from MK Resorts...not MK. I just misremembered.

They've had buses to TL from the MK resorts for years.

It was just a change to some direct routes instead of using the Bus that also goes to Downtown Disney before 2PM and some other fine details that are totally unexciting. My brain interpreted it as something more than it was when I saw it in my news feed. It's irrelevant to the ops question. My bad.
