Buses from park to park?

If a park closes early such as AKL closing at 5:00, is it possible to catch a bus from AKL going to a park that is still open such as MGM?
We did this several years ago. When Epcot closed at 9 we took a bus straight to MGM. Does WDW transportation still do this?
