Buses from AKL

How are the buses from AKL? I have heard mixed reviews and just want to prepare myself for my Nov. trip.

Personally I think the bus sevice there is probably better then just about any place else. One pickup and your off and they don't share with anyplace else. I never waited long for a bus.

I agree. We were there in June and had no problems waiting for a bus. We split our stay at the Swan and we shared a bus with multiple resorts. I loved the fact that you don't share with another resort.

My DH and I were there for 8 days in feb. We did have some 20-30 min waits especially late at night coming back from DD, PI
During the day the waits were not bad typically 10 min. or so.

We were there in February and never waited more than 5-10 minutes...with the exception of Downtown Disney which was probably 20 minutes, but seemed longer because I was so tired at the time, LOL.

We were there in January (you'll love it) and found the buses very doable. The drive to MK seems long the first time you go there, but you get used to it.

Make sure you do the storytelling at AKL!
