Buses at AOA vs. Mods

I recently booked AOA LM (my kids love LM) - My husband and I have always stayed moderate and are a little nervous about the bus system. I know there will be a queue for the buses but how often do the buses come (for instance moderate may be a bus once every ten minutes)...do values have buses coming constantly and for all parks? How crowded willl the buses be? Standing room only?
Does anyone actually prefer the value busing system to the moderate one?

I have stayed at CBR and Pop and prefer the buses at Pop over CBR. I will say on each trip, we have one bad bus experience (wait of 45-60 minutes for a bus) but that has happened at all resort levels and isn't limited to being at a value resort.

On one of our trips, we only waited more than 10 minutes for a bus once in 9 days at Pop.

I got to WDW 3x/year and have for 7 years. Bus service can be ANYTHING at ANY resort at ANY time. I have never found one resort's service to be "good" and another's "bad."

At peak times any/every resort will have SRO buses.

The only uniformity I have found is generally poor bus service to/from any resort to DTD. YMMV.
