MK boat, larger boat with handicap access. Goes straight to MK dock where you pass thru security.
Two launches running from here. One goes from Fort to Wilderness Lodge then Contemporary. Second goes from the Fort to Contemporary then to Wilderness Lodge. Just ask skipper will tell you where he is going.
Take launch to contemporary walk up dock take a right to end of building take a left around building you will see a sign that says Magic Kingdom walkway it goes to the right. Follow this you will cross at the light. Will pass thru security about halfway up the sidewalk to MK. It is about a 10 min walk from Contemporary to MK.
You don't have to walk through the lobby of CR, but it is a cool view.
You can turn right just before you go into building and follow the sidewalk with CR immediately on your left. This sidewalk will lead into the parking lot and makes a gentle turn left leading to the street the CMs use to their parking area. You cross this and walk along the monorail to the gate.
If you take the boat directly to MK you will typically be docking when the gates are opening so you'll still need to go through security.
If you desire to get there as early as possible, the CR boat is still best. We use it when we have early (prior to park opening) dining reservations.
Also, any tips for getting to AK, Epcot, or HS earlier than what the buses offer? I know they start an hour prior to park opening, but we would like to get to the parks one hour prior to park opening.

For those you would need to drive. Parking is free to Disney guests. You could also take a taxi or the new Disney uber (which is 20 dollars each way no matter where you go on property) known as the minnie taxi's.

Do the buses run one hour prior to the certain park they go to opening? Or one hour prior to earliest park opening? What about morning extra magic hours?
Also, we need to exchange papers for annual passes the day before we go to the parks. Can we ride the CR boat from FW to CR, then hop on the monorail and go to TTC to exchange for annual passes?
