We have a 7 and 8 year old who are 50 and 52 inches tall. I notice that all the inverting rides are a minimum of 54 inches tall. We are planning on discovery cove the beginning of June, so we are considering the Busch garden add-on for $30 each. Is it worth it? Are all the animal encounters extra? Not really clear from the website what is included in the base package. We are planning to go to Tampa anyway to see my wife's uncle, so the drive is notably issue

there are walking trails where you can see the animals-- and we saw animals like a lion- a LOT closer then we ever have at Animal Kingdom. A train takes you around the park as well that was fun. There were a few rides that you can go on under the 50 inche mark with an adult.
We were just there on Tuesday, the two large roller coasters were closed for rehab

Looks like the only rides that they won't be able to go on are kumba, Montu and sheikra. Looks like there are a few others that look fun.

Totally worth it even if you cant go on all the coasters. My kids love BG and they are too little for most of the rides except for the sesame street area kiddie rides. The animal exhibits are really neat. We even got to see a gorilla up close right by the window.

Not an issue at all. Took our 7 and 9 yr old last year and they had plenty to do. Also Cheetah Hunt and Phoenix are inverted rides and they'd both be able to ride those.
