We are staying on site at disney, but are thinking of going to busch gardens for two days.

Since it is quite a drive we are wondering whether to stay overnight.

Can anyone recommend a nice but reasonable price hotel near to busch gardens please :goodvibes

I'm not sure you'll really need to stay overnight. I live south of Tampa and we can make it to Disney in an hour and a half. Unless you really want to pack up all your stuff and stay in Tampa I would just drive back to Orlando. I've been to Busch Gardens many times and we've never stayed past sunset. So it would be easy for you to drive back to your other hotel. If you think you'll be too tired I understand. Unfortunately I don't have any hotel recommendations since I've always gone home. Just wanted to make sure you knew the travel time wasn't all that bad.

Can't really go wrong with the Embassy Suites on Fowler,it's like 2 minutes to the park.Even though Busch Gardens is great, the area just outside the park is not the greatest and good hotels are not as plentiful as in Orlando and will be more expensive as well, but if I had to choose one the Embassy Suites is the way to go.

We went to Busch this October and is was incredibly quiet, most rides we were straight on and the longest queue was 2 minutes.
We also thought we would need 2 days but were completely finished enjoying everything on offer by 4pm.
The drive back to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge was about 75 mins.
