Busch Gardens tips?

Well I know this isn't the right "place" but, if you have any ???'s I'll try to answer......... we've been there about 500 times!! LOL....

I will try to help though............:)

I just thought since there were Disney boards and Universal boards and Sea World boards here, maybe there was a Busch Gardens board somewhere.:) Anyway, I have been to BG (Tampa) before (once), but was looking for any good tips regarding that particular park. No fast pass there? So I guess the only option is to get there early. Do they open before "official time"?, anywhere better to eat, do not miss roller coasters, etc.?
Any good tips for a mom and an 11 and 8 year old appreciated. We will be staying at the Best Western 1 mile from BG and if anyone has stayed there would appreciate any info on that too! Thanks much!:bounce:

Have no great inside tips, but we were just there in Feb. I absolutely LOVED Montu(sp) in the Egypt area. The other coasters were good too, but this one was really fun! Rino Rally was fun too, nothing really exciting but my son (7) loved it. The walk thru the part where the gorrillas are was really nice. OH, the Haunted Lighthouse 4-D should not be missed...that was neat, even my husband laughed.

You will enjoy it!

Thanks! I might add that we are doing BG after 4 days at RPH in Universal so everyone won't think I'm not a Universal fan too.:bounce:

KaTonga, the new stage show at the Moroccan Palace Theater is not to be missed. It's FABULOUS, the best theme park show in Central Florida (and I include Disney in that reckoning).

I like the Kumba (rollercoaster) too, in addition to Montu. If you like animals, I would also make sure to do any rides that allow you to see them. (I haven't been since 1999, and it sounds like a lot has changed!)

We've been there twice and were able to do the entire park in a day (even in the middle of summer).

You might want to look at www.themeparks.com It's been a while since I've looked at that site, but I think they might have some information (not sure if they have forums though).

Hit Rhino Rally as early as you can. The waits for this lackluster ride can get insane very quickly.

I think Rhino Rally is doable once just to get it out of your system. The wait times are huge and it loads so slow. I think it loads 1 car every 5 minutes. Once you do the Rally first, hit Gwazi first.
