Hi All,

Looking into doing a safari next year after seeing Disney's prices for the new tour they offer :scared1: and comparing to Busch's price's Ive decided I'm going to go for one of the Busch safari's.

Is there any particular one that you've been on or that's best.

We absolutely love Giraffe's they are one of our fave animals. :goodvibes

Just wanted to let you know they have the Kilimanjaro safari's at AK which is free (included in admission). The tours are for behind the scenes stuff or for special events. Not sure if you knew that.

Yes I knew that I meant the behind the scene's ones or special event's, thanks for trying to help though.

Oh, sorry. I didn't realize Busch Gardens had a behind the scenes one. I may have to look into that as I, too, am wary of the price of the AK tour.

We have done the giraffe one and loved it - feeding the giraffes is fab and they tell you alot about them as well as you can ask lots of questions. You also see other animals on that tour as well. Would recommend it:thumbsup2

They take lots of photos and you can buy them afterwards - we bought the CD:rotfl2:

We did the guided adventure tour. Its a 5 hour tour (ours was nearly 6) you get front of line access to rides/shows, the Serengeti safari (below) lunch and behind the scenes with the animals. $95+tax. You are supposed to be in a group but we had a guide (David) to ourselves.

Also done the Serengeti Safari (feed Giraffe) $34+tax for 30 mins, this is included in the tour above which I thought was very good value but found the giraffe feed on its own expensive for what it is.

If you knock off the giraffe feed at $34 and lunch about $15 you are only paying about ($48incl tax) £31pp for the guide, FOTL & animal interaction which I think is great value.

We have done the Serengeti tour and loved it. I was planning on booking it again, but after reading Wayne's post I may look into some of the other tours first.:wave2:

Did a tour last year were we fed the Giraffes, DW loves giraffes, and was good. We did buy thier photo's, perhaops we were unlucky with photographer we had, the stand was not great and would suggest almost anyone could do better.
