I posted this on the Orlando Attractions board but I was getting no responses and I need an answer very quickly.

How far away is Busch Gardens from Disney World? Is it worth traveling to or just a smaller version of Disney or Universal? Can you give descriptions of the rides/shows? Any comments or suggestions are welcome!

Thanks!

Busch Gardens is in Tamp and it is an hour away from WDW on I-4. The are lots of rides- some great rollar coasters Montu and Kumba but my kids love the zoo aspect of it..the shows are great. We feel that it is worth it and go every year when we are at WDW. We also like SeaWorld.

Do you have a car? I think that would make a difference if you go to Busch Gardens.. PM me if you want a detailed review of BG...

Busch Gardens is in Tampa, about 1 - 1 1/2 hours down I-4. It kind of combines all the Disney parks, except MGM. There are many rollercoasters, some of the best from what I've heard. I don't enjoy rollercoasters, so I can't say. There is an African Safari attraction, a really cool kiddie area, Budweiser has a pavillion where you can see the Clydesdales and sample some beer.

I don't go to BG because I'd rather drive the extra hour and go to Disney. If you love roller coasters, it might be worth it for you.
