Planning to visit BG next August for two days, making use of the Shuttle Bus, which, I think, comes free with the Flexiticket. One downside to this seems to be that you don't get there until after 10 and you return before park closing. This no doubt means long lines for the coasters.

Was thinking of avoiding this by taking one of their VIP tours. eg they have a tour called the "Adventure Thrill Tour" which includes access to all major rides, shows & lunch for about $75.

(a) Has anyone been to BG in the summer and can tell me what the queues are like for the water rides and coasters?

(b) Has anyone tried any of the BG tours and can advise whether they are any good? If so, which one did you try (they have lots, all doing slightly different things)?

(c) What is the Shuttle Bus like?

Thanks

would also be interested in this. The transport come free with the flex pass.

We tried 'the ultimate' last year in slow season and LOVED every minute of it. Yes it's expensive but we loved being front of the line AND front of the coasters :flower:

We have booked on this tour on boxing day. DH and I love coasters and we figured the park would be busy so we booked the tour. We need to be there at 10:15 at the latest though as the tour starts at 10:30. I haven't been to Busch Gardens before but I will let you know what it is like when I come back. We are taking our hire car though as we don't want to risk not getting there on time on a shuttle.

Hiya

Is the tour just for your party or do you share

Would be interested to hear about your Boxing Day trip. it sounds like a great way of spending the day.

As far as the number of people on the tours goes, it varies. If you go for the full 8 hour expensive tour, it is just your family and you decide where you want to go.

The cheaper 4/5 hour tours, have up to 20 people, but you do get taken on all water rides & the headliner coasters, but if it isn't busy it would all be a waste of money...............!!!
