Hi,

Does anyone know if there is the equivalent of the Disney or Universal GAC at Busch Gardens?

Just booked the Sesame Street character breakfast for this April. :)

I'm actually doubting there is an equivalent there. I remember calling them myself; so, I know there's a phone number on the website for special needs.

We went there back in December 2009 and I have to tell you it was almost deserted. I think it's a non issue there, but I can't confirm it.

Don't know the answer to the GAC question, but I will say that BG was slow when we visited as well. I think BG attracts a lot of locals and so is busier on weekends and in the summer. We went during spring break season (when lines at WDW were in the 60-90 minute range) and we had minimal waits.

Haven't gone to BG in about 20 years because they were so not handicap accessible. I rented a scooter that broke down at the far end of the park I was told to leave it there and go back to the entrance to get a replacement. The train wasn't running so we had to walk it took me over an hour with the many breaks I had to take. Once I got to the entrance we continued on out never to go back

BG isn't very friendly, IMO. Difficult as heck with a SD, and very unfriendly to wheelchairs, esp strollers as chairs or anything that doesn't look exactly like a TV wheelchair.
I'm not sure why I keep renewing my passes... but they're done at the end of the year and I doubt I'll renew. They've gotten worse since they were acquired.

I've not been to the BG in Florida but I know and have used a system with my child with Asperger's in Williamsburg and it has been fine. The last time was this past July.

We go to the one in Williamsburg and I haven't had much problem, but I also don't ride very many of the things there. The shows are all HC accessible. For the rides they have a piece of paper that they stamp with a time for you to come back to the ride, supposed to be the wait time for the line. I have to go to Guest Services everytime I go to the park and get a paper and a wristband. But they have my information in the computer so they just pull me up and print it. They aren't very consistent in their policy and like most things some of the workers are clueless and others know exactly what they are doing.
