I am taking my girlfriend in February for her first trip. Everytime I have gone with my family we have always had a car so we would go to MK via monorail. And I want to do this for our first day, but we are using the Disney bus system and I was wondering If their is a bus that will take us from our hotel, all star music, to the TTC. Thank you very much in advance.

There isn't a bus from your resort to the TTC, but if you are heading to the Magic Kingdom, there will be a bus that drops you off at the front gate area. This way you can skip the whole TTC.

Unless you were to head to another park from your resort, there isn't any way to avoid being dropped off right at MK. All resort buses go to the MK...thereby avoiding the TTC. But, if you were to take a bus to say Epcot, you could get on the monorail there, take that to the TTC and then transfer to the MK monorail loop. Or go to DHS and take the bus to the TTC there..then monorail to MK.

ok thanks for that info. Kinda stinks but oh well.

I know what you mean....arriving by bus just doesn't seem as magical. I would seriously consider Diane's suggestion of taking a bus to Epcot. Then your girlfriend can enjoy the monorail to the TTC and either another monorail ride or ferry ride to the MK for her first visit. Sure it would take extra time but the monorails and boats are part of the magic and she would arrive as Walt intended. :wizard:

Take a bus to EPCOT. Take the monorail from EPCOT to the TTC. You can take the monorail or ferry boat to the MK.

Or just make believe.

Take the bus to Magic Kingdom, walk up from the bus platform along the waterfront to the monorail station, and take the monorail for a joyride all the way around. You are not that close to the ticket booths and turnstiles.

But once you've arrived at the park, you've 'arrived' at the park. It just isn't the same as arriving by monorail.
I can see what the OP is trying to do...give that whole 'Disney/MK' experience.

How about schedule a Chef Mickey breafast at the CR take the bus there and then hop on the Monorail to MK!

That's a fun idea, too. :thumbsup2

Or breakfast at 'Ohana at the Polynesian or 1900 Park Fare at the GF if they would enjoy a character meal. For non character, Kona Cafe, GF Cafe or the Wave all are enjoyable.

If went through Epcot you would actually be using two Monorails. The 1st Monorail would be from Epcot to the TTC and the 2nd one would be the Express Monorail from the TTC to the Magic Kingdom.
