Bus transportation from VWL

How is the bus transportation from VWL to the various parks, EPcot, AK, and MGM. Is it better to drive your car?

You'll probably get some varying responses on this, but we've always had good luck with the Disney bus system from WL. And on a hot Florida summer day, it sure is nicer to get on an air-conditioned bus than to get in a steaming car!

I would think that going to other resorts or Downtown Disney would be better for driving. I've heard a few horror stories about those kind of trips on the Disney Transportation System.

I thought the bus ride to the parks were great. There never seemed to be a line or much of a wait.

I do agree with the post above for DD. I would drive there. The bus stop is at one end of a very long walk to DD and shoppping. Parking, on the other hand, is throughout the entire DD area.

Thanks, Granny. That is a good point about a steamy car. I can hear my DW *****in now about it being hot.

Hey, scduckman....you'd hear me complaining too! Nothing like trudging around the parks in that nice Florida sunshine and then getting in a steaming car. By the time the AC starts to have any effect you're back at your DVC home.

To me, part of vacationing is letting someone else handle the hassles of driving, parking, etc
