Bus transportation from the Contemporary?

How is the bus transportation from the CR? I know that we will have the monorail to use as well as walking to the MK. I haven't heard much about the bus transportation. I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing

What have been your experiences?

The bus transportation is great at the CR! The buses run frequently, and although they do stop at other resorts (Poly and GF usually) we've never had to stand, since they start with the CR. We've never had a bad experience with the buses at CR in over 15 trips.

Anyone else have any comments on the bus trasportation from the CR?

The bus service is as prompt as I've seen it at other non-monorail resorts. Since the road leading into the MK resort area is one-way, the buses usually stop at the Contemporary first before heading to the Polynesian.

I'm not sure what buses are shared; when I stated at the GF three weeks ago and headed to Downtown Disney we stopped at Wilderness Lodge on the way back. I assume destinations change on demand.

From what I remember, it was OK during our stay 2.5 years ago. Nothing sticks out in my mind as very good or bad.

I did find the WL buses faster, though.

We stayed at CR in October 2002 and the bus service was average. Didn't care for the sharing of buses which increased travel time and ridership. The monorail also makes 3 stops before getting to MK but your first on the return.
