Hi, Quickie Question: Is there a dedicated bus that stops at POP Century to go to Animal Kingdom if I have an 8am Tusker House reservation? If I'm thinking correctly, if AK opens at 9am, buses should start running 8am. But, there should be one earlier (7:30-ish) for anyone with a character breakfast, yes? Thanks, Vakay

Double check with the front desk folks the night before. That information (early bus) is not always accurate.

I am staying at OKW and have an 855 breakfast at Kona on a day that MK has a 9 am opening. Will the buses and monorail be running in time to get me there?

Yes. As a previous poster has stated, the buses start running at 6:30AM

Forgive me, I thought that bus schedule had dependence on park openings. Any one know about boat to DTD from OKW then bus to Poly? After 20+ trips to WDW I feel like a newbie.

Respectfully, the early bus information provided on the DIS is accurate :teeth:. Buses to the parks from each resort start at 6:30 (possibly a few minutes later where resorts share buses or there are multiple stops) and run about every 30 minutes until an hour before park opening, when the frequency increases to every 20 minutes.

You need to be at your bus stop before 7:30. 7am is better. You never know when you may have just missed the bus and have to wait 20 minutes or so for one to come by.

Keep in mind too that getting into the park and walking back to the Tusker House will take some time. And Disney suggests you arrive to the restaurant 15 minutes before your ADR time.

Buses for DTD for the resorts start at 9:00 am, but they will sent by dispatch to get people to the parks first if needed.

You could wait up to an hour in the morning at the resort bus hub to transfer.

As strange as this sounds, the resort front desk staff are often the worst people to ask. Disney simply doesn't cross-train its cast members, but that doesn't stop a lot of them from offering their best guesses anyway.

If you want bus information and don't want to trust the experts here, your very best bet is to wait until you're on Disney property and ask ANY bus driver anywhere (doesn't have to be a bus driver you see at the spot or on the route in question). The bus drives know all ... about Disney Transport, that is. But I wouldn't trust their answers about, for example, theme park ticket information.

kept in mind that Disney is a business. it exist to make money. so running buses to the parks (and sometimes hotel if you are the only one on the bus) early to follow for guests to get to their early morrning breakfast - which Disney definitely makes money.

is to Disney interest to continue doing this extra bus thing.

otherwise the people who don't have cars or don't want a taxis - would just cancel their reservation.

that is not to Disney best interest.
