Bus to waterparks

How long did it take you to get from resort to waterparks by bus, and back? We will be at BLT.
10 of us including twin 1 yr olds and a 4 yr old, so I guess can't Uber.

For TL, you have to transfer at DS. For BB, you have to transfer at AK. Plan on it taking an hour, maybe a smidge more if you have bad luck.

We usually rent a car to save time and money. Two cars in your case. We usually hit Walmart on the first day to load up on breakfast, snacks, water, and pop. We take frozen water bottles with us in a backpack to keep the pop cold. The savings on drinks alone pays for the car rental . You can self-park for free at the Disney resorts and at the parks with the resort printout. If you want to go somewhere other than the parks to eat at night it’s nice to have the car. If you forget something or someone gets sick you’ll be happy you have a car. Disney World parks are spread out so you can either drive between parks or take the buses. The buses can take up to an hour to get you between parks.

It takes an hour or so - maybe slightly less if you're lucky and maybe slightly more if you're not.

There's really no way to predict how long it will take. It all depends on when you catch the buses. Our most recent trip we got to BB from OKW in just under 45 minutes. We waited less than 10 minutes for the AK bus at OKW and just over 10 minutes at AK for the BB bus.

If you rent from a DVC member or are a DVC member you will park for free. Quote below from your link. This is also how it has been at Aulani and Grand California from the beginning. Both us and our guests have always parked for free at those resorts that charge others for parking.

Disney Vacation Club Members
Members will not be charged for standard overnight self-parking when staying at a DVC Deluxe Villa, regardless of whether they use vacation points or another form of payment. Members also will not be charged to park when using vacation points to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.
