My father-in-law has a reservation at Fultons at 7pm. We are doing Epcot that day. Does a bus run from Epcot to DTD and back to Epcot? Do you think they will make it back for Illuminations at 9:30?

No bus from Epcot to DTD. Best bets would be to either go through IG and catch a bus at BC or take a bus to SSR or OKW and boat over. I do not think they would be back by 9:30.

The quickest way to me would be to take a taxi, if you're concerned about timing. It can't cost much, and then you'd probably make it back in time.

I stayed at the Boardwalk last month which is right next to Epcot. Using my rental car the drive to DTD was maybe 8 minutes. If time is a concern I would take a taxi, I can't imagine it will be very expensive and it would get you back in time. I doubt that the buses would.

Although if you attempted the bus, you could jump on one to the Yacht/beach/boardwalk Inn and walk to epcot in 8-10 minutes.

These threads always amaze me. I don't get the over schedule so we can eat with a stop watch mentality.

Yes it might be possible. But is it a nice relaxing meal if you have to eat with one eye on the clock so you can race to event two.

It seems to be a common theme on here. Schedule a meal at a nice restaurant where realistically you should plan on 90 minutes and them try to squeeze one more thing in

In This case I would assume the meal will be over between 8:30 to 9. (You may not get seated right at 7. ). So then you power walk to a cab and hike to World Showcase It can be done. But is it an enjoyable end to a nice dinner?

I can't speak for the OP but I think, in general, a lot of people don't get how vast WDW is and how long it can take to get from place to place.

I personally think they should get an earlier reservation in order to enjoy both Fultons and Illuminations. Thank you for all the input.
