Bus time from Pop Century

I haven't been to WDW in some time, so can you please refresh my memory on how much time to allow for transportation to and from the parks. I'm staying at Pop Century in October. I know it will vary depending on the park due to distance, etc., but as a general rule, how much time should I allow each morning. Thanks!

Disney always tells you to give 90 minutes when traveling between parks. Realistically, it's rarely that much. But, I'd still give yourself an hour just in case. The hope would be no more than a 20 minute wait for a bus, but it's sometimes longer. Then at Pop, I've had such long lines we haven't always made it on the first bus or the time to load takes a while if there are multiple scooters. Actual drive time the longest is to MK and that's usually around 20 minutes.

Thanks! I plan to do EMH each morning, so guess I'm waking up pretty early then! I see Pop also has the new skyliner to Epcot and HS. I hope that is faster than the buses. I see in Epcot it takes you to the International Gateway. I just wonder, if I'm trying to make a quick dash to Soarin if that might not be the best way to enter. Any thoughts on that? Would taking a bus to the front entrance be more efficient in that case?

No, I definitely wouldn't use it if you are trying to get to Soarin'. That's the opposite end of the park. Not sure what the wait and travel time will be for the skyliner and probably won't know until seeing it in action for a bit. Me, I'm terrified of heights so you won't find me in line for it, lol. I'm not sure how many people will utilize it over the buses but it will be interesting to see what happens.

The actual walking distance to The Land entrance is roughly the same from the Skyliner station as it is from the charter bus stops (which is where the buses often drop off). It's counterintuitive, but you're walking a big horseshoe route from the bus area to the entrance and then back to the Land. I confirmed the distances on Google Maps.

I can't speak to crowd levels, or the timing and location of "the rope", as I'm never up that early.

Oh, interesting. Thanks. I'll have to give this more thought!

Does anyone have the info original poster was looking for? I know what Disney always says to allow, but what’s the actual travel time from Pop to each park? It’s been a few years, but I thought MK is the furthest at around 25 minutes? What about AK? It’s an AK area resort, right? So can’t be too far! We’ll be using the Skyliner for HS and Epcot, assuming they’re up and running an hour before those EEMH opening times.

If you go to Google Maps, it will give you driving time.
