Bus Stop Question

I am not sure if this is the correct place to put this but thought I would start here. I was wondering where I might find a list of the order of bus stops at the parks for the resorts. Last time we stayed at Disney we stayed at Pop and while we enjoyed the resort it was always the last stop (farrest walk) when leaving the parks, this trip we are cosidering a moderate resort and was just kinda wondering!

Thanks for any help!

Someone will correct me if I am wrong but I think they are subject to change, so you won't find a list of which bus stop is where for each park. Generally, deluxe resorts are the closest to the gates, followed by moderate, then values. Since buses share during off peak times, I don't think it gets anymore specific than that since I believe they are moved around as needed. I think this is also why the signs stating the bus stops are not permanent fixtures but ones with slots that are inter-changeable.

the deluxes are the first bus stops - but these buses always share with another resort - the MK resorts will share (generally only 2 or 3) - the Epcot resorts will share (2 or 3 or all 5) - the AKL shares with Kidani - OKW and SSR have multiple stops at their resorts - just like the moderates.

so believe it or not - Pop has the best bus system - it does not share with any other resorts or has multiple stops.

I'd been wondering this too. I was hoping someone would have a current photo or map of what's where, but nope. I am probably at Pop too, but I'm considering CBR. Undecided. Not necessarily because of the bus stops but I did want to know.

With the resorts we've stayed at in the last 3-4 years (Pop, Sports, CSR, POFQ, WL), I felt like CSR had, on the whole, the best overall locations for the bus-stops at the parks. I know they change (CSR's stop at MK used to be one of the closest, now it's about mid-way down) but when we stayed at Pop, it seemed that the stops were all at the far side on the very end.

As stated, they are subject to change. We have sometimes just got used to a specific bus stop for one park on a trip and then it's changed to a completely different one. You just have to check every time :thumbsup2

There is no listing of the resort bus stops at the parks. The stops can, and do, change. I've been going to WDW since '99....and I've had the bus stop changed multiple times for the same resort!!! I always look at the board now...just to be sure!!! I've automatically walked to what I thought was my bus stop...had been the last two stays. Well, imagine my surprise when I found out it wasn't my stop anymore...my stop had been moved!!!
Other posters are correct...Pop has some of the best bus service onsite. But, it is also usually the furthest stop at the parks. But I have to tell you...I routinely stay at BWV...and I haven't had a really short walk to any of the park bus stops when staying there either.

I agree that normally CSR seems to have the best overall locations. Coming straight out of Epcot it is usually the first or second stop, coming out of DS it is usually the first stop to the left, coming out of AK it is about halfway down, and coming out of MK, it used to be the very first stop, but the last couple of years it has been over on the far side a little over halfway down.

The other concern is where you are dropped off. I haven't been dropped off at my resort stop in who knows when. The guests are usually dropped off at the stop the bus is next picking up at the theme park. So you might be on the BC/YC bus to the MK but dropping off at the Pop Century stop at the MK.

The bus stops are not in any permanent order.

Agreed. I did an all resorts, no parks trip a few years ago. I spent a lot of time on the buses transferring at the parks.

There was no set bus set-ups. I know a PP stated the deluxes are always closest, but I did not find that at all. On two separate times, I transferred once to GF and once to AKL and they were the farthest bus stops at DHS. So that statement is not correct.

My experience exactly; especially DHS.

the deluxes are the first bus stops
That's just plain not true. The only specific example I can give with 100% certainty (because I don't like to report guesses or fuzzy memories) s at Disney's Hollywood Studios, where the monorail resorts bus stop is just about the farthest stop from the park entrance.

thanks - since stay at BWV when visiting Studios - don't use the buses.:rotfl:

at the Mk bus stop and Epcot it seems to be true.

I had no idea they changed that often....seems the past few years POP has pretty much been the same, or maybe we just don't recognize the difference LOL

when we stayed at Pop in 2010, it was actually one of the first stops at DHS. I don't remember about the rest but I do remember not having to walk very far after Fantasmic and Osborne lights
