Bus start time extra extra magic hours

We’re staying at GF in late September and we not expecting SWGE to be open when we planned this trip. That said, we want to visit Batuu. With EEMH starting at 6am, I know busses should start at 5am but will they be running earlier? It would be too early for a Minnie van. We could Uber/cab it too but we would be happy hopping a bus at 4am.

Any info on resort busses for EEMH?

It would not be a total waste of time to go out there at 20 to 5 rather than at 5 AM sharp.

(Extrapolating from other guests' trip reports from last year to the upcoming Galaxy Edge extra early 6 am extra magic hours park openings,) buses have been known to come a few minutes before the scheduled [5 AM] start. If that happened then the next bus could be the usual 20 to 25 minutes after the previous bus instead of at 5 AM sharp (arriving perhaps 5:15 and everyone who got to the platform at 5 sharp would think the buses did not honor the 1 hour before park opening).

I myself have never been out there a whole hour before morning EMH start, although the last time I stayed on site I was fortunate enough to find and pick a time when crowd levels were less than 4 on a scale of 10 and I still got to the park in time to enjoy most of the EMH.

It's too early to know exactly how WDW will handle transportation to DHS after SWGE opens. Ask again in early Sept., after some DISers will have experienced it.

I know when toy story first opened (we went day 2) we got on the bus at 5:30 for 8 am opening. I don’t know if we were on first bus or not but we were in the front 3rd of crowd or maybe front quarter of crowd for that when we got in the gates if that helps at all

Actually it might have been a 7am opening. But regardless we were on a 5:30 am bus
