When staying on property and taking the Disney Transportation buses to the Animal Kingdom, you hear an African song on the bus' internal sound system as you pull into the parking lot/drop off area.

What is that song? Is it one of these?

Hapa Duniani ("Here, in the World" -or- "Here, on the Earth") is Swahili.
Lyrics are The Lord's Prayer - Matthew 6:9-13 (King James Ver)

6:9 --- Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Wow, I never knew that. And it's one piece of Disney music that annoys the heck out of me. Just irritates me for some reason. Maybe now I can tolerate it a bit since I kind of know what it's in reference to.

This was one of my favorite songs from all of WDW. Last year on Jack Spence's blog over at allears.net, he did a great article about the Safari and it was there that I found out that this song is the Lord's Prayer in Swahili. I knew then why I liked it so much.
