My daughters and I will be staying at the riverside this July. And staying closest to the south depot. I saw a post from about aprilish of this year about the bus schedule. But was looking for something a little more recent. If it is the same or worse. I know everyones objective is to get the parks but if me and the kids have to wait for over an hour to finally get on a bus I may be better off driving from west virginia or renting a car. My oldest and me are fine standing, but my youngest is 4 and needs to be able to sit.

We stayed at POR this past August, using the west depot every day. I don't think we ever waited longer than 20 minutes for a bus. They have a display showing estimated arrival times for the buses, and it was usually fairly accurate. Of course, if you're getting on at the south depot, that's the last stop so it may be tough to find a seat. If a seat is definitely needed, you might want to walk the extra 5-10 minutes to the west depot.

We were at POR in May and used the south bus stop. The only time the bus took a long time to arrive and was standing room only was AK EMH. The bus ran less frequently in the late afternoons/early evenings, but there was less demand. You could sit in the shade under the shelter to wait and find a seat for the whole family onboard. When it was more crowded people seemed really helpful and understanding--moving kids and bags onto laps so more seats were open, offering seats to people holding sleeping kids.

Thank you. We don't go to Disney often. The last time my oldest went she was around 4/5 she is now 11 lol. That was a long time ago. And since it is just me and my two girls, hubby is going on a fishing trip to Canada, I need to know all the little things like buses and stuff before hand. Not wait till I get down there in 100 degree weather and find out.

Not related to bus schedule at all, but buying a misting fan ahead of time at home was one of our most worthwhile trip purchases.

There's no schedule. WDW dispatches buses according to demand. They're supposed to come about every 20 minutes. Sometimes it's longer, sometimes it's shorter.
