We have a MK day planned, but have ADR's for lunch at Epcot. Which way is faster/more efficient for making this trip?

If you start at MK, take the ferry or the monorail to the TTC, and then get on the Epcot monorail. To get back, reverse course.

You need hopper to go to two parks one day. I'm guessing you realize that already.

We'll have AP's. ;) So taking the monorail is faster than the bus even with changing?

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think there is a direct bus from MK to Epcot. I think your only choice is to take the monorail to the TTC (or a boat) and then the Epcot monorail. I suppose you could walk to the CR and take a bus to Epcot but it may stop at other resorts on the way. Taking the monorail should take about 45 minutes I would imagine or less.

I suppose no bus would make the monorail a much faster way to get there! :thumbsup2

I don't think there is an Epcot bus from CR either. I think all monorail resorts have to take the monorail to Epcot. I could be wrong though.

It's pretty much monorail or ferry to the TTC and then monorail to EPCOT's front gate OR you could grab a bus from MK to the Boardwalk or the Y&B Club and walk or or take a boat to EPCOT's International Gateway entrance.

I would say the fastest route would be taking the Express Monorail to the TTC and switching to the Epcot Monorail. Plus there are no buses from the Monorail Resorts to Epcot, so anyone staying there also needs to get the Epcot Monorail from the TTC when going there.

You did not say where your ADR is at but if it is in the World showcase area of Epcot. I would take the BC/YC bus from MK and walk to the International Gateway from the BC. Much less time than two monorails and then the long walk from the front of Epcot.

Oops-it's at Coral Reef, so we're still better with the monorail, right?

I'm such a dummy. This is right. We stayed at BLT last year and found this out then. Totally forgot.
