I did not know this topic had just been discussed as I just got back.
Let's change the subject - let's talk about people using their cell phones while on rides and getting mad because they can't hear
Only if we can also include people using their cell phones to call friends at home to say, "We're at Epcot, we're going into Mission: Space!, I'm going to lose the connection, goodbye".

Both of my sons have eagerly given up their seats on Disney buses to elderly women, pregnant women, and women carrrying small sleeping children. Did I prompt them to do it.....heck no. They did it out of the kindness of their little hearts.
Well, really they did it because that's how you raised and influenced them their entire lives. Good job, and the people to whom they gave their seats thank the three of you!

If you think not offering up a seat is rude, try riding the commuter train to work every day with people who sit themselves in the aisle seat or a 2 or 3 seat row and then roll their eyes at you when you ask to sit in the other empty seats in the row. How dare you disturb them!!!
I know we're getting off the subject now, but when I did use the T's commuter rail, there was a conductor who had to make somebody give up their seat for me (yes, I'm handicapped). I don't remember if there are seats marked "please give up this seat if an elderly or HP person needs it" on the trains, but one time, in a five-seat section occupied by four men and a woman, not surprisingly not ONE man moved.

Yes, the 5:00 train leaving North Station !!!!!
Oh, this IS funny! It's been a while - is that the train that goes through Reading, or the one that goes through Salem?

Now, what's you all's opinion on this? I do use an
ECV at Disney, which I rent offsite. 99% of the time, the bus drivers "strongly prefer" that since I am able to get out of it, I do and sit in a seat while they strap in just the ECV. It's more complicated and time-consuming to tie down the rider as well. But now, I'm taking up an extra seat - four in all. What do you all think I should do (as if this thread isn't controversial enough

)
