Bus from Toronto to Buffalo??

Has anyone ever taken a bus from Toronto to the Buffalo airport??

After two consecutive trips to WDW (going on three) I am starting to feel bad for my parents having to keep driving me to Buffalo. I am 20 and have no car and I am travelling with my 12 years old sister so shes no help lol.

Just trying to get some opinions on the service! Thanks!

I looked for such a thing last year and found nothing. I found lots out of Niagara Falls but nothing out of Toronto other than airport taxis/limos which were crazy expensive since it was not a shared ride - you paid in full. Good luck.

megabus.com has daily departures from Toronto to Buffalo. Prices range from 4.00 a ticket to 70.00 a ticket dependant on the time your travelling.

I too don't drive but have never asked my parents to drive me to BUF just YYZ and even then they don't want to. But I have considered it for my Dec trip if I can't get a good fare on westjet.

I will be using Megabus on my September trip next year. As I am doing the DCL TA cruise from Barcelona to Florida, I didn't want to pay for 2+ weeks of parking. They keep adding buses and with the dollar being so strong more and more Canadians are flying from BUF and visiting the US, I think they will be continue to be strong.

Know I'm bumping an older thread, but I haven't been on in a while and figured i should reply since I have first hand experience.

Ive done megabus from Toronto to Buffalo twice now. Once with the destination being the airport (aka WDW) and the other we took as an inexpensive way to go to buffalo and do some shopping.

The buses are clean and run pretty much on schedule. Customs was for the most part painless. The only "annoyance" is you have to take your luggage off the bus and get scanned as if you are entering the airport. But the questions themselves are no more difficult then when you would be driving over.

One small issue was on our one trip we had a younger guy on who ended up being of Iraqi descent. He apparently got pulled for major questioning and we sat in the bus not knowing what was going on for 30min He came on and apologized. Luckily we booked our bus with plenty of time to spare, but just know delays can happen. I'm not sure what the cut off time would have been for the bus. If at some point it would have left without him ?

But I would use megabus again in a heartbeat. Will be using it again next fall for out WDW trip and will use it again for shopping trips. (We book a hotel with an airport shuttle, then just call it when we arrive..and let the shopping begin!)
