I know that I should know this but once you hear it differently from someone else you start to doubt what you remember. You can take a Disney Bus from one park to another as long as the other one is open, right? So if I go to MK for am EMH I can just get on a bus directly to AK at lunch time to spend the rest of the day there.

I seem to recall that you can, but someone mentioned that you have to go to a resort first and transfer, and I don't remember ever doing that for the parks when I have had Hopper tix.

There is some form of transport available from each park to another without having to go to a resort. The caveat with the MK is that the trip involves a stop at the TTC, with a transfer to or from the monorail or ferry. There is bus service between the TTC and AK and DHS, and monorail service to Epcot. As an alternate for getting to or from the MK and DHS or AK, some guests will use bus transport to or from the CR and walk between the CR and the MK.

From AK there is bus service to Epcot and DHS.

From DHS there is bus service to AK and to Epcot's main gain, and boat service to Epcot's International Gateway. You also can walk from DHS to the IG.

From Epcot's main gate there is bus service to AK and DHS, and monorail service to the TTC for a transfer to the MK. From Epcot's IG there is boat service to DHS and you can walk that distance too.

To get to AK, DHS, or DTD from the MK we find it easiest to take the seven minute walk to the CR. The bus station is covered so you don't have to worry about too much sun (or rain).

For Hollywood Studios and the Animal Kingdom it might be faster getting those buses at the TTC because it's a direct ride, where as from the Contemporary it also stops at the Polynesian and Grand Floridian.

to get to DTD from any park you have to go to a resort first as there is no direct service from any park to DTD
