Bus from MK to MGM?

Just wondering if there is a direct bus from the MK to MGM or if we have to go someplace else and transfer. We usualy don't go directly from one park to another, so I wasn't sure. We usually go back to our resort to rest between parks. On our December trip, however, we want to spend the afternoon at the MK and then hop over to MGM to see the lights.

You will have to transfer.

Take the monorail or ferry to TTC, then bus to MGM.

Take bus to another resort, then transfer to bus to MGM.

Take a bus to an Epcot resort, then get on a boat to MGM.

Lot's of options.

So, am I correct in understanding that there are no direct busses from park to park at all? Anytime I need to go from one park to another, I will need to either transfer at a resort or the TTC, right?

I am not sure that is true.... I remember taking a bus from AK to MK, if I'm not mistaken... anyone else know for sure? But if it is tur, for your trip from MK to MGM, I would just walk over to the Contmporary, or else just hop on the Monorail and go to the Comtemporary, which is the first stop after MK. There will be buses to MGM from there.

For MK you must transfer at the TTC, which is the primary hub for getting from park to park. But for the other parks there are also direct buses. There are park to park buses from Epcot to Studios, and Epcot to AK, and Studios to AK. Park hopping is fairly easy.

I am not sure, but I think when we went to MGM from the Contemp., we stopped at Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness, then the TTC, then went to MGM. I think the bus was also supposed to go to one of the water parks, but it was full (this was Easter week).
