Bus from AK to AKL-stop for Zebra Domes at Mara also Sanaa?

We are taking the bus from AK to AKL. We have a lunch reservation at Sanaa. After lunch, is Mara within walking distance of Sanaa? From what I understand, picking up a package of zebra domes is a must do! Does the bus stop at Jambo House (Mara) and then Sanaa? We'll be taking a cab back to POP after lunch.

What is the best way to get the domes?! We've never tried them or even been to Animal Kingdom Lodge-I'm clueless even after studying the maps!

Sanaa is at Kidani Village, Mara is at Jambo House; it's easily walkable. I don't know which building the bus stops at first, though.

You really don't need to go to Mara unless there is something else you want there. The gift shop at Kidani has zebra domes in their refrigerated foods section.

If you have never visited AKL, I recommend walking from Kidani Village to Jambo House just to see the Jambo House lobby. It's about a half mile from the main entrance of Kidani to the main entrance of Jambo House. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from one to the other.

Park buses stop at Kidani first, then Jambo House so you could board any park bus at Kidani and get off at Jambo House if you don't want to walk.

The above is generally true, but always check with the bus driver. Occasionally buses will make the stops in reverse order, or make only one of the 2 stops; it all depends on crowd levels at the stops.

When I last stayed at AKL (March 2013), there was a shuttle that ran between Kidani and Jambo House. We used it once when we went to take a look at Kidani.

To the OP, I would highly recommend visiting Jambo House if you have the time. The decor and details are amazing!
