Buried (the movie)

When I was at the movies today, I saw a preview for the movie Buried. It is "coming soon", but it seems like a good movie.
I am wondering if the plot is thick enough to hold interest.

Synopsis
Paul Conroy is not ready to die. But when he wakes up 6 feet underground with no idea of who put him there or why, life for the truck driver and family man instantly becomes a hellish struggle for survival. Buried with only a cell phone and a lighter, his contact with the outside world and ability to piece together clues that could help him discover his location are maddeningly limited. Poor reception, a rapidly draining battery, and a dwindling oxygen supply become his worst enemies in a tightly confined race against time— fighting panic, despair and delirium, Paul has only 90 minutes to be rescued before his worst nightmare comes true.

Seems good, but how in the world did they make a movie about being buried underground?????? I mean that could be summed up in like 2 minutes!!!



underground, he would probably not have enough time....Wouldnt he die in like 1 minute??
Im interested, though and it sounds good. Ive seen the little minitrailer thing.

I'm thinking kind of the same thing!
Mainly, I'm thinking just about how many different angles they can get of a guy in a coffin. And exactly, how interesting will this be? It's gonna be of a dude laying down in a coffin... I'm sure they'll probably have snipits of his past and of what's going on around him and such... but still...

I shall be the first one to say: this sounds extremely dull to me.
We have Some Guy, in a coffin, for an hour and a half. Wow.

Plus, I don't think someone could survive for 90 minutes off of the eensey-weensey amount of oxygen there would be.

Even if he eventually got out and went to hunt down whoever did it, there has to be a fair amount of time in the coffin.

Would you even GET cell phone reception 6 ft under? I don't think so, but I dunno.

Light the lighter and lose oxygen! Probably not a good idea....

Doesn't sound like an interesting movie to me, but the plot is pretty original, so that's a thumbs up I guess.
