I am fairly new to these boards and have been looking around for a while before I subscribed. I have a question regarding burgers within the parks. I was told a few years ago that these burgers were soy and not very good. Can anyone tell me if this is true. We like to have a good ham/cheeseburger now and then.

We leave in 4 days and would like to know this before going so I do not order a burger and be very disappointed.

Thanks in advance. :D

Pecos Bills in the MK has wonderful burgers! YUMMIE!

The burgers at resturaunasaurus at AK not so good.

Burgers mit cheese!

Hi!
Stacy6552 is right on about the burgers at Pecos Bill's in the MK (Frontierland), and they have a great fixin's bar, including hot cheese sauce. Just outside of Pecos Bill's is a good place to watch Spectromagic from, also. In the opinion of my daughter and my granddaughter even better burgers are available at Beaches and Cream. And in my opinion, they are NOT soy based. Can I have one now, please?? Bob

Cosmic Rays and Pecos Bills serve up the greatest burgers in MK (Pecos ahs the edge) - Beaches and Cream's burger at the Beach Club Resort was also very good :)

I think Cosmic Ray's are the best burgers with the Liberty Inn at the American Adventure in Epcot to be a very close second. A lot of people like Beaches N' Cream, but I thought they were too greasy.

At the counter eateries, my vote is for Pecos Bill (MK) and Electric Umbrella (Epcot, Future World). These are good burgers (and I'm fussy). Also love the cheesy chilli fries at Pecos Bill.

I think these are McDonalds' burgers. Not a patch on the others mentioned in this thread.

Hi, KCritter!

A little bit of grease makes the medi - oops, burgers go down. And they taste better, I think. Bob

Beaches and Cream at the BC is our favorite stop for burgers with Pecos Bill's at MK coming in second. Dh enjoyed his burger at the Plaza restaurant (not the Plaza pavillion) in the MK as well. The only burger I've had at WDW that I got the impression it might be a soy burger was at Rosie's All American Cafe in MGM. :( I'm not really fond of the ones at Restaurantaurus in AK but they aren't McDonald's burgers. The chicken nuggets and fries served there are McDonalds abut the burgers aren't.

Every trip, my husband's only meal request is to go to the Sci-Fi for a burger. He loves them there.

Thanks everyone for your insight, there are quite a few for Pecos Bill, just might have to try that.:D

KCritter, I'm with Bob on this one. My wife calls the B & C burgers greasy, while I prefer the term juicy!! She still likes them as much as I do. Pecos Bill's are my favorite in the parks-great topping bar!

Another vote for Peco Bill's and Beaches and Cream. Yummy burgers.

One of the best burger's I ever ate was at Sci-Fi. Ask my poor DH. He ordered it but I ate his! Thought the atmosphere was fun and my girls liked watching the clips.

I've seen Sci-fi get allot of mentions for their burgers.

Last trip I had burgers from Peco Bills (MK), Back Lot Express (Studios) and Restaurantasaurus (AK) - all with no cheese (don't like cooked cheese!) - and I couldn't really tell much between them :) Especially once you put all the fixin's on :)

I can't imagine that all the separate food outlets in WDW would buy their burgers from different suppliers. I would imagine that the burgers are purchase in bulk by WDW and distributed to the different counter service outlets to get the lowest possible prices from supplier. I would guess any difference in taste would come from how they are cooked.

I did have a very nice burger in Universal Studios, I think the outlet was called Richters (sp?)

Have to say Burgers at Beaches and Cream and Concourse Steakhouse are my personal favorites.

B&C has the best burgers IMHO....another great incentive to go is because of the fantastic shakes and desserts!!

Enjoy your burger wherever it is!

;) Just got back from out week long trip, just wanted to say thanks to you all who responded, we tried Pecos Bill's for a burger in MK and my husband loved it, he enjoyed the toppings bar very much. I am not a topping person, lettuce/tomato that is it for me; however, the burger was very good. We also tried Beaches and Cream this was also very good, there were 4 of us and enjoyed them tremendously.

Wasn't too impressed on the shake at Beaches and Cream.

Thank you everyone for your insights, we enjoyed them.

BTW, we went to Plant Hollywood and had burgers there, also very good if anyone wants to try them, I would recommend them as well.
