Are the burgers at SCI-FI gone? I can't imagine why they would remove them....a burger and a shake at a 'drive in' IS their trademark....:confused3

Was just there Sunday and I think that the burgers may have been taken off the menu. I don't remember seeing them and the waiters were reminding everyone that they were still available. That's what I had.

My wife just made a reservation for the family next week, and they confirmed that the burger is still available.
Why they would even think about removing it is beyond me. :confused3 Isn't the whole point of the place to look like some kind of 50's burger joint? I ask, because I have not been there yet.

We all had burgers there on the 27th june it was at lunchtime dont think they are on the menu at dinner but you can ask for one. We all thought they were the best burgers of our holiday and my son had a lot of burgers.

I was just going to ask the same thing! I noticed they are no longer on the Allears menu! This is the only thing my sons eat there! :confused3

Only a guess, but with all the recent beef recalls they may keep it off menu. It might be day by day thing as to whether it is offered. Kinda like the tomatos being removed from dishes in June.

What about the veggie burger?

I too don't know why they would take the regular burger off the menu. I know that's what my DH wants when he goes.

When we were there sept. 07 it wasn't on the dinner menu, only on the lunch one. I was able to ask and get a burger no problem for dinner.

It was great.

Hope this helps-

Oh, I hope I can get a burger at lunch in November. Of course, I dould probably be happy with just a milkshake!:)

I hope this is temporary. I really wouldn't go back if there were not burgers on the menu- really the only thing we like there.:confused3

BEEF RECALL?????:scared1: :scared1: Where have I been- are you serious? I really get freaked with that sort of stuff. What is it this time?

I've always wanted to go the Sci-Fi Drive In, but it has just never worked out. I was determined to book for our trip next April, but I only wanted to go because of the classic "burger and shake" type of meal. :cloud9:

Please don't tell me this is another restaurant going all "healthy options" only! :snooty: I mean, I am an adult, I can decide for myself what I want to eat! :rolleyes1

Yep, yet another recall. You may have missed it, as it wasn't as big as the recall in Feb. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,401309,00.html

Non store grinded, ground beef is something I personally try to avoid eating. And unless is is labeled the type of cut used (for example ground chcuk), I won't buy it.
