I was looking at the menu for dinner at Sci-Fi and didn't see a burger listed. It was listed only for lunch. Does anyone know if this is true? My daughter (11) is eating for the first time from the adult menu and I'm trying to pick restaurants that she can find something she likes.
We usually make lunch ADRs so we can get the burgers. The one time we arrived late and they had switched over to the dinner menu, but we were still able to get burgers - we really enjoy the burgers there!
How late did you arrive and still get burgers? I have a picky family too and didn't realize until reading this we would have to order off the dinner menu. Our reservation is for 4:15 so anyone have a guess if we could order a burger or could we show up early and hope to get in before 4.
Sci Fi has a burger on the lunch menu and so could probably do it for dinner too. Beware, though, that picky eaters will have a problem with this place. The mac and cheese isn't very good, and not like the Kraft stuff at all!
I will say, though, that they were very accomodating with my wife last week by HEAVILY modifying the chicken sandwich into a very plain, ordinary one. So if you go, ask for options.
We had dinner at Sci-Fi last sept. and DH and I both ordered burgers. Our waiter didn't seem at all surprised at the request either. I don't think you will have a problem, I have read that several other Disers have done the same thing.
Our waitress had offered them to us as she brought out the dinner menu's. They were pretty good, as well as the shakes & onion rings. We were able to get our burgers with both cheeses, mushrooms, bacon & the regular toppings plus sub our fries for onion rings on DDP.
