bunk beds

I am wondering if anyone here has had a room at the Park Vue Inn with 1 queen and 1 set bunk beds? We can get one in the summer for about $99 a night, and wonder what these rooms are like.

We are weighing our options for hotels, and as we are a family of 4, bunk beds for the kids (6&10) would help in the . ..he's on my side...you're taking all the blankets....stop kicking me..... parents, you get the picture. OR is there a downside that we have not thought about in having bunks?

We are also considering the BWPPI, Carousel, and Tropicana - but have not seen bunk beds offered there. Short walking distance, pool, and free breaky are priorities for us. (and Cleanliness of course! )

We have bunk bed rooms at other hotels and what a great idea they are! The kids seem eager to sleep in them , and the only fight is who gets top , so they take turns. Have a great trip , you will love them

BWPPI has some +'s you might want to consider. A bit of background, we're a family of 4 adults, 2 kids travelling in March 07. Kids age 4/ 10. BWPPI has mini-suites with 2 queens, 1 double pull-out - would provide you a big space, for a good price. We were able to get the room for 6 pp at $109/night during a fairly busy season, so summer prices may be comparable. We haven't stayed here before, but it comes recommended by close friends who stayed here last year. Clean, closest to parks, and cost were selling points for us. Let us know if you find anything else about the Tropicana - we also debated this, but felt BWPPI had everything we needed.
Still hoping to book a few nights at DLH or GC if codes come out closer to trip.
