I realize this thread is from a while back but does it *currently* seem like there will be issues getting a studio at poly if you own there now or in the future?

I was planning on buying points at the poly and now I'm questioning it. I wouldn't want to stay here if there is any trouble getting studios at 10-11 months out...

No, no issues. There's been a couple of times that you do want to book right at 11 months - the every popular first week of December and on some of the race weekends. Having essentially one booking category at a resort really helps no matter what the resort. At PVB the standard view studios so out number everything else that they're virtually like a single category.

Thanks! Most of our trips would be March/April/July so it looks like I would be okay! That said all those categories at BLT are looking so tempting. I've never stayed at either resort (had to cancel our trip ) but I've been to the contemporary (Chef Mickey's then used the monorail). We loved the theme of AKL and the convenience of BCV when we stayed there; it seems like Poly would be the resort that could give us a little of both...
