Other than my labor being 15 hours long it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. She was my 1st baby so I thought it was going to be horrible. I did end up getting an epidural because I was getting exhausted because of the long labor and the pains got pretty intense the longer it went along and the closer it got to the baby being delivered.

Eventually she BUMPED herself right out of me.

Caught at the other end. No 15 hours is not that bad. Some women go so much longer.

I guess it being my 1st baby the 15 hours seemed like an eternity to me. My Mom told me that she delivered me in about 3 hours.

That was a fast labor. My first took 2 days and about 12 hours.

OMG, you poor woman. 2 and a half days. I would have been going stir crazy. I believe my Mom when she had me did some of her labor at home before even getting to the hospital. By the time she got there I was almost ready to say hello to the world.

Love to hear the stories that are short especially for the first time. I wasn't very happy I went to the hospital and the dr thought i was someone else and sent me home. I slept off and on for as long as I could. My second came in 12 hours, stubborn child refused to come down, so they gave me pip and then the next thing I know he was crowning. I felt so bad the same lady another room was still screaming when I came back..

When I get pregnant again I would like it to be even shorter of labor than 15 hours. We shall see when that times comes many years down the road.

Oh I am. I got pregnant while in college with Felicity and the Dad is a dead beat and wants nothing to do with his baby. I was extremely angry at first that he has not helped at all during the pregnancy and has never seen or given a thing to his daughter since she was born. He is a college student so he don't have much at all, but a little help would be nice. Now I am thinking Felicity is better off without him. I plan on finding a nice man in the future and have him adopt Felicity and then we can add to our family down the road.
