Bummed with Disney Club discounts for 2003

I just realized that Disney Club discounts are no longer valid at any of the Downtown Disney stores except World of Disney. We enjoyed shopping with our discount at Team Disney and Pooh Corner and Disney at Home.

Also noticed that Wolfgang Puck Express discount went from 20% to 10%. We saved quite a bit dining here in December...will miss that extra 10%.

Well, 2003 DC discounts are better than 2004. (Which will be zip.)

But I guess if I paid $20 or $30 for a membership - even in its waning years - I would expect more.
Well at least we won't have this to complain about next year.

That was my point, Beth! Not a huge deal, probably won't lose much sleep over it, however, I did pay for an additional year of "discounts".

I'm a little confused...I thought the discount was only at the World of Disneythis past year..didn't realize it was ever at Disney at Home. Or is that the Amex that was only good at World of Disney, and maybe the DC was only 10%. while the amex was 15%.
In any case, we bought AP's this year, so I'll get the discount.

i'm just glad i got rooms for november 2003 with the discount. at least my card has already paid for itself several times over! if nothing else it's worth it for that savings!!

I know last year I also received a DC discount at the DQ gift shop.
Also reading of more DS closings. Maybe this is another indication....
