Bummed out onTOT

Found out Sat. that some unthinking Disney atraction supervisoe has taken away the fallen letters in the lobby directory that said evil tower u r doom.Can't really say why they did this but it bothers me that someone would take away a little magical moment that our family always had with that ride.

I just read somewhere (on the Dis somewhere no doubt) that they have recently returned the tower lobby to it's "original" condition, switching back some of the little things that have been changed over the years.

Yeah, it has been that way for a few months. The letters weren't there either in early June when I was there.

They were already gone in April. My DS did a college night trip and took friends over to see them only to find them gone.

They where there in early Feb., but gone on our mid-May trip.

I'm sure that at times it created a lot of slow-downs if guests were supposed to be entering the open doors of the library (either library) but
paused (or went out of their way) to peek at the obscure fallen letters.

The problem NOW is... folks will forever be looking to see if they ever RETURN!

I am sure that after a while someone will put the letters back. The CM's just have to wait for the appropriate time when they won't get caught. The plates in the Haunted Mansion are another example of things that go back to the original state every now and then and are later moved.

This has been this way for quite some time now. A CM actually did put them back, but an imagineer removed them again. It is a rather hot topic on some other Disney enthusiast forums.
