Bummed in NC

First Disney trip in 30 years...finally bringing the kids. I/We have been very excited about park hopping for the week of Mar31 to Apr 6, but every coworker I talk to tells me this is a horrible time of year to go. Now I'm kinda bummed. Are the parks gonna so packed that it won't be fun? Thanks.

Will it be crowded? Yes. Are you willing to make rope drop every day to get in the headliners? We're going that same week, and our plan is to get up and do the headliners at rope drop, and just take the rest of the day as it goes.

We are going that week as well. We leave out next friday, the 30th, and come back on thursday the 5th. I am quite prepared for it to be busy. Especially since they keep changing the EMH's. I just noticed this morning, that sometime they changed the PM EMH's at MK for 4/1 from 11pm-2am to 11pm-3am! We plan to do just as the pp said. We're doing AM EMH's, and Rope Drop every morning to hit all of the headliners we can. Then we'll take the rest of the day as it comes. Crowds? Yeah, I'm sure it will be busy, but I don't see how it can ever be miserable. For me, I don't care how packed it is. I am happy being there!!!
