Bulk Airfare

Hi, I have a question....Has anyone else had a hard time getting bulk airfare fir Delta flights when booking through Disney Travel Company? We are booked for Sept 10 - 18 and when I booked, the woman said all she had for bulk air was American Airlines. (the flight times are not great, so I really wanted to be booked on Delta) She said they just re-negotiated pricing with Delta, and the bulk air should be loaded into the computer within the next few days. This was a couple of weeks ago (I just found time to sit on the phone for an hour again) and today they said they still do not have any bulk air past Aug 18. I really want the bulk air because I am pregnant and do not want to have issues if the trip needs to be changed again. Also, I like not having to pay for the air until I pay for the trip in July. Any info would be appreciated.

I didn't have a problem getting bulk air, but it just happened that the listed price of air at the time I made my reservation was CHEAPER than the bulk air. There was about $250 difference in the package price (for 2 adults) by using the listed price rather than the bulk air. Now, maybe I just hit it at a lucky time. This was about 4:30 in the afternoon. It was still considered a "Disney" package and they used the cost of my airline tickets as the deposit. In other words, I didn't have to pay up front for the tickets AND put down a seperate deposit for the package.

Also you may want to consider the way fare prices are increasing. You may pay more bulk air in a couple of months than you would for published fair right now.

I am not sure that the "bulk" is going to help you much if the trip gets changed. Make sure you understand what will and won't be covered.
