Building request at POLY?

I know some longhouses are restricted to club level, etc. Does anyone know if Tokelau longhouse is available for general garden view room reservations? We are interested in being near the quiet pool and would like a first floor. I haven't requested yet but will do so if the possbility exists. Otherwise, I will request another building. Any alternate suggestions. Thanks.

Absolutely it is and a great choice. Hawaii is the CL building. Tokelau is one of the newer buildings and has the largest rooms at 476 sq ft compared to 440 for most other buildings. It's my first choice for garden view.

You could also phrase your request to simply: "Ground floor near quiet pool".

We just got back from the Poly last weekend. We requested Tokelau and our request was granted. It was a garden view room and it was PHENOMENAL. We had a view of the quiet pool and gorgeous grounds (and a peek of the lagooon in the distance). BEST Location. Request it!

In 2010, we had booked a garden view room and requested Tokelau, upper floor. We got exactly what we requested. We got a 3rd floor room on the side opposite the quiet pool. It was a beautiful view and an awesome location.

We were there last year - garden view was perfect, loved it! Big rooms, clean, great view!!

Loved Tokelau, our only stay at Poly was in a garden view room in that building. It was wonderful, close to the quiet pool, not too far from the TTC, and if you cut through a couple buildings, an almost completely air conditioned walk to the ceremonial house.

Same advice as everyone else here, but I'll add anyway. Tokelau is great, we stayed there in 2009 and I requested Tokelau (in the side closest to the beach) and it was granted. We had a first floor garden view room facing toward the Contemporary toward the side closest to Sunset Point. We would walk out in the morning and see the Contemporary and the castle, also nice to just walk out to Sunset point to watch the fireworks at night or the EWP. It is very convenient to everything at the resort, GCH, quiet pool (right next to the quiet pool, which we LOVED!!), volcano pool, laundry (if you need it), etc. as well as the parking lot closest to the TTC, which we found much more convenient to park at than the lot in front of GCH.

You really can't go wrong with Tokelau. I would stay there again in a heartbeat! Have a great stay!
