Hi All,

We have a two bedroom reserved and I am just wondering what building I might request.

The Unoffical Guide (I think ) said something about building 13....That is was close to the main pool area? With nice views?

I know some rooms look over the roadways, and want to avoid that. Also, are the two bedrooms generally on the first, second or third floors? Or is it varied?

I would appreciate your thoughts on this! :sunny:

We stayed in a Studio in Building 13 two weekends ago. It was our first stay at OKW and we loved the location. While we didn't go to the parks, we did use the bus to go to DTD so it was convenient having the stop just across the street. We loved that the location was a short walk to the main pool and mostly to Community Hall where we spent quite a bit of time. We didn't eat at Olivia's, but we got dessert from Good's to Go one night. DH was back in the room already when the boys and I decided to get ice cream - we took it back to the room - DH wanted some, so he just went out and got it - not like if we'd been staying a long walk away.

Some folks have discussed that parking is sometimes an issue for bldgs 11 - 14 because of proximity to the main pool, but we didn't have that experience.

We really liked that the rooms were set up where you don't have people walking past your door to get to theirs.

I was in a 2 bdrm in June. Bldg 35 right next to the turtle pond buss stop. We were on the 3rd floor and overlooked the 5th hole of the golf course and there was a small pond were we could watch the ducks a blue heron, cranes and a turtle play all day. This was a Non smoking room and the bath off the master bedroom had the door from the hall through the laundry room i know some units do not have that option.

If you have someone using the sofa bed in the living room you may want to consider buildings 30 and above because those are the ones with access to the master bath through the laundry room as well as the MB. The ones lower than that require a person to go through the MB or the second bedroom to get to the bathroom.

Thank's for your replies. :)

Is the bus stop that is right outside building 13 possibly a nuisssance if you are not using the bus?

We would like a pretty/peaceful view from the balcony, and be able to walk over to the main pool.
