Building Explosion in NYC!

Yikes! When I first turned on the tv and saw the live coverage, I was very scared with all the talk of terror attacks. They haven't really said exactly what caused it but they are saying it was some sort manhole or transformer explosion...they don't know if it came from underground or inside the building. At this point, they don't know for sure what caused it.

No injuries reported so far.....

Ok, sorry, I've updated above with the only mention on the 'Net so far, looks like a manhole explosion.

I thought the only place that happened was in DC (the land of exploding man-hole covers)...

I think it could happen anywhere where transormers are buried underground. Most large metropolitan areas would be set up that way so there is the risk anywhere.
