Building A Disney Resort

Just looking for a discussion here... I'm wondering what it takes to create a Disney resort. Say someone wanted to build another deluxe resort around the Contemporary, Polynesian and the Grand Floridian.

I would love to see more MK resorts! I wonder if Disney will ever do this? I don't think there is any room for another resort on the monorail loop. There is a lot of wooded area on Bay Lake. Is all of that area part of Fort Wilderness? What about the island formerly known as Discovery Island? Could anything be put there?

The original plans for WDW included a hotel in between the Contemporary and the TTC as well as a hotel on the North side of Bay Lake (near the MK).

Over the years there have been a number of reports of surveyors and ground testing crews at those locations, but obviously whatever might have been going on never blossomed into a new resort.

There have been a number of suggested resorts for Discovery Island - the best one I heard was a 'Hogwarts' castle!
