Building 7 POFQ?

Will me and my bf be happy with building7? I requested this because i figured building 5 might be a little busier and loud being close to the pool, with more kids around. I dont want a smoking room which helped in my decision. Any input would be greatly apprecaited. Thanks

Will u be okay with a hike to the food court/pool area? If so then bld 7 is a quiet area and if u ask for 3rd floor u may even be able to see fireworks.

We had a rental car with us so we used it to park near the buses, food court, pool, ect when we used them. I know that POFQ is smaller than most others but for us a hike after a long day in the parks was not much fun. IMO I would ask for a closer bldg.

Others will tell u that POFQ is compact and the walk is not bad. We have been spoiled by the compact WL so are experience was different than many.

Bldg 3 is a good location too. It is not far from the pool/food court and the bus stop. If you don't mind a little longer walk to everything then bldg 7 is good. We stayed in bldg 3 and 5. Bldg 5 is quiet too if you are facing away from the pool. We were on 3rd floor, not much foot traffic. Very quiet. And bldg 3 and 5 is non-smoking bldg.

Please keep in mind that even though you put in a request for building you could end up anywhere. With that out of the way let's say you get building seven. The upside is that it is out of the way which you would assume would make it quite and romantic. The downside is you are going to have a pretty good walk to the pool, foodcourt, lounge, guest services and the bus stop.

We were in bldg 4 last May. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the inner court. We felt that it was a very quiet and very convinient location. I had actually requested bldg 4 and got it.

We used to request bldg 7 (3rd floor), too. The rooms have nice views and we always felt like we had a little more privacy- we did not have kids at the time and to us that end of the resort felt more romantic. We also liked being close to the POR as we liked to hop over there to use the pool (we like their long pool slide). We took a back shortcut to the bus stop so we actually found bldg 7 to be convenient to the buses as well as our car. Last trip there we requested bldg 5, got it, and enjoyed the location as well. It was much closer to the food court which was nice as we had refillable mugs and were constantly filling them up. Enjoy

Thanks all for your great advice. We dont really mind walkin at all. We are still pretty young. 21 and 24, my bf will turn 21 three days before we leave. I know we'll have fun no matter what.
