I've heard on a couple of occasions that there is a location at Downtown Disney and Main Street USA where you can build your own cd from a list of park music. I was wondering where exactly can you do this and if anyone has done it in the past what kind of costs are associated and what type of music can you pick from. Background, ride through, etc.

Yeah I did it a couple of times, but now its gone. On Main Street, It was inside the expo hall and in DTD, it was inside the sports store. The music selection was ok, mostly from the MK and EPCOT. The longest song was I remember was 5:00 it that was the narration for the monorail. I remember it being 20 dollars for ten songs. So If a track that you wanted was 1:30 long, that counted as one track. I made Two cds, songs on it were POTC background exit music, Space MT queue line music, songs like that. It you want to listen to that, download live365.com

This was in our passholder newsletter this month,Disney musis fans rejoice!

There’s a treasure trove waiting for you at Main Street Cinema at Magic Kingdom® Park and Once Upon a Toy at Downtown Disney® Marketplace. The new Wonderland CD system creates new compact discs from over 60 classic full-length Disney albums. Over 20 albums are on CD for the first time and virtually all are unavailable in stores.

This is big news for those of us who wore out our old Disney discs when we were kids—or those who never realized how many great Disney albums existed—from Mickey Mouse Club in the last century to House of Mouse in this one. The special kiosks allow you to hear samples from Grammy® nominees The Parent Trap and Babes in Toyland, character showcases Mickey Mouse and His Friends and The Disney Afternoon, pop hits Mouse House Dance Mixes and TiggerMania, plus albums featuring Park attractions, movie /TV favorites, and Disney stars. Just select the albums you’d like and less than two minutes later, you have a brand-new CD in its own “jewel case” featuring original cover art by some of Disney’s greatest illustrators. And they sound fantastic—it’s magic to your ears!

MM Secret:
The Enchanted Tiki Room CD contains a secret audio track. Put it in your player, start at track 1 then scan backwards to hear an extra bonus feature.

I saw the machine on main street, but it wasn't working at the time.

I just saw a website yesterday that listed what Cds that were availbale. Some of them listed were Summer Magic, a Hayley Mills Album, Songs from the Disney Afternoon, The House of Mouse album. It sounds like a cd vending machine where you pick the album and the disc is burned and then it drops down for you. I will try and find the website I saw it on.

I'm glad they brought this back. It makes for a great souvenir and is personalized to you tastes. Disneyland still has this feature in the music store on Main St. Their selection, I believe, is a bit better than WDW.

I just got back from WDW, I looked at the CD maker machine on main street. The selections were VERY limited. I was very disapointed.

those of you who are interested in disney movie songs i have the set of Disney Greatest Hits. i have four of them. they are at walmart for less than $10 a peice and at target.
