Build-A-Bear Mickey & Minnie

Last week I went to my local Build-A-Bear store and they had the build your own Mickey & Minnie. I asked the employee if he know they were getting them in. I explained how I was told they were exclusive to Downtown Disney. He said he didn't know since he was a new employee. He said they got a large shipment of them in.


Just curious if anyone else has these available too in their local store?

We were at our local mall on Saturday, and I didn't see them. The only Disney character I saw was Pooh.

I don't know if they're at our local store, but I just saw them at the BuildABear online store.

We were at the Mall of America one, and the only actual stuffed animal they had to make was the Pooh. They had Disney themed outfits (mainly princess ones for girls and some halloween "outifts" of tigger, eeyore, etc) for the bears, but not any other ones to stuff.
Though, I had heard that the BaB in Orlando was going to be getting some "exclusives" that were Disney, but I don't know what they were. The BaB isn't in DtD there.

My 8 yo DD is funny ...
I told her about Mickey & Minnie being at DTD only, she said, "no....they're lying. Here, I'll SHOW you."
She then took me to the Buildabear site (she goes on there to make wish lists & play games) & scrolled right to Mickey & Minnie - $28 each.

Leave it to the 8 yo!

The BAB at the FL Mall and Altamonte Springs Mall in FL both sell the BAB Mickey & Minnie's - they were the only ones besides Disneyland DTD when they first came out - if they are online they must be expanding the availablity, as you could not get them on line at first either (I tried, so I would not have to go to the mall!)

That's weird. I don't know how my local store got them. I bought a build-your-own Mickey from there a few days ago.

I checked another BAB store at a mall that's 30 min. away from my house and they didn't have them in stock. Very strange.
