Build a Bear in Disney World? or close?

Anyone know if there is a BAB Workshop in Disney World or nearby?

none on property at this time. there should be a build-a-dino as part of t-rex cafe.

the closest babw is the one at the florida mall.

Yep, they have one in Florida Mall, which is maybe 15 minute drive once you're outside Disney property.

Last time we were there they had a Jessie outfit (from Toy Story) outfit.....the guy at the store said it was brand new, so my daughter decided to wait to get one at home since she had gift cards at home. Well, that's been almost a year and no Jessie yet so we'll be stopping by to get Jessie clothes on our next visit!

There are actually a lot of BABs in Florida, so if you'll be in other locations in Florida too, just check their website. We went to the Florida Mall and Tampa locations.....interestingly they had quite a bit of different merchandise between the two stores (no Jessie in Tampa). We have 3 stores in our area and they all have exactly the same stuff, even displayed in almost the exact same way.....not fair!

You will only find Disney related clothing and bears at the mall closest to Disney property. They other stores aren't related to Disney and won't carry all the merchandise. The other stores nation wide will only have a few pieces that will sell like hot cakes.

I know when at DL the had minnie mouse we were able to build for my DD and we got a Belle and Jasmine costume.


I only give this advice since I worked for the company for many years. Hope you can make it out there. I have never visited that store, but I bet we will during one of our trips since my DD loves it so much.

Ya know what would be a really cool idea - is if Disney would open a similar store but with Disney plushes instead. Then they could replace the "heart" with pixie dust that would be sprinkled inside the plush.

I am 42 and I would even want to do that.

The BAB's in Arizona have the Disney Princess outfits....and a Mickey and I think it was either Pluto or Goofy, but no Jessie. I don't recall any of the animals being Disney though. A Minnie Mouse would be cute!

there was... (as i believe they have been retired).. a mickey and minnie. they were exclusive to the anaheim and orlando stores but were also available online.

there is a series of disney outfits available as regular stock inventory. online has some (i know there's been a woody, buzz lightyear, etc)

but either these items are on their way out or the internet catalog is having issues because they've been missing off the site for some time

but all that aside, there are other exclusives, mostly for anaheim. the mickey and minnie outfits included disneyland ears, mickey gloves and a tshirt

We live in Minnesota and we were just recently at the Rainforest Cafe in the Mall of America. One of the managers there said there is a limited Build a Bear in the Rainforest Cafe's in DTD and AK. Apparently, they just have the rain forest animals available there and not sure about any Disney outfits.

our BAB has a ton of Disney stuff, from ariel to Mickey we can go in anytime and pick out a disney outfit
