has anyone been to that one?
are they all pretty much the same?

Yep, been there :)

I live about 10-15 minutes away from Providence (a native Warwick citizen) and my family and I frequently go to Providence Place Mall (in fact, dad and I were there yesterday!)

I've made animals there before and yes, it's like all the others. Of course, not as big as the NYC store, or the one in Myrtle Beach, SC. Still, the employees are friendly, and it's always a fun trip there!

Just a side story, stuffed animals make fun presents for anyone! I gave my best friend one for her 16th birthday, all dressed up in a soccer outfit (she's a soccer player), and she LOVED it.

My grandfather still has a stuffed koala that I gave him quite a few years back. I even have my first animal that I made there, a cat named Fluffy!

But yes, the one at PPM is the same as all the others. There's also a Build-a-Bear at the Emerald Square Mall, not too too far from PPM (maybe 20 minutes or so).

oh good, glad to hear the providence one is fun! :thumbsup2

Providence Place Mall is cool. My family can spend hours in Dave & Buster's! The IMAX there is nice, too (albeit expensive). There's also a nice, big Border's (which I can easily spend hours in) with a very good selection of books, music, DVD's, etc.

LOL :)

Warwick Mall (10 minutes from me, less!) doesn't have the goods that PPM does.

Meaning, there's no Godiva Chocolateirs in Warwick Mall :p

AmandaSparks you were right, build a bear at Providence Place was a ton of fun for the kids! people there very friendly, the kids loved loved it! they are already asking to go back!

I miss PPM. I grew up in RI, but don't live close to a mall like PPM now.

I really enjoy PPM, but as someone who doesn't have kids (yet - for the next few months) I tend to walk by Build-A-Bear as fast as possible when I'm there. It always looks like a zoo to me! I'm glad to hear it's nice, because I'll probably be there before too long......

Can anyone who's been there recently let me know if the Indian place in the food court is still open? DH and I loved to get food there, but someone told me the other day that it had closed. We haven't had a chance to get back to find out for ourselves yet, but I would be so sad if it did.
